Pharmageddon: ID Consult is a 35 card expansion pack for Pharmageddon: Bugs vs Drugs. It introduces a new game concept: source control. Some Bug Cards won’t be able to be killed with Drug Cards alone. Source control is the solution!

What does ID Consult add to the game?

In addition to additional bugs to learn and kill, a new Drug Card to play to escape Resistance at the last minute, and a new Event Card to give some treatment advice when you just don’t know what drug to play next, ID Consult introduces the source control game concept.

Now, new cards like Catheter, Hardware, and Abscess can be tucked underneath a Bug Card in the shared play area to make that Bug invincible to drugs alone. The bug now needs source control. Thankfully, each player is given a Heal with Steel card at the start of the game which they may use each turn to target Bug Cards that require source control. If using Heal with Steel, the player must target the Bug Cards needing source control first. Catheters, Hardware, and Abscesses are all played slightly different offering opportunities for extra health and extra points in addition to roadblocks. Experienced players will find opportunities amongst the chaos.
